CECE is looking for a motivated and pragmatic person to support its team of two policy managers
covering the regulatory work in a wide variety of areas such as sustainability, health and safety and
digitalisation representing manufacturers of construction machinery.

Your work:
• Supporting CECE Policy Team in preparation of internal and external technical meetings
• Assisting in drafting meeting reports/notes/minutes and presentations
• Drafting technical articles for CECE publications (e.g. weekly newsletter, sectoral publications)
• Supporting the CECE Technical Team in preparation for CECE Technical Forum and other
policy/regulatory events
• Participating in external policy/technical meetings and report back to relevant CECE groups
• Carrying out legislation/policy monitoring and research and reporting of relevant developments
Your profile:
• Master’s degree in European studies or technical degree in engineering
• Very good understanding of the European legislative process
• Proven interest in Machinery/Sustainability/Digital is an asset
• Previous experience in a similar position is a plus
• Ability to communicate and work well within and across multicultural teams
• Computer literate (MS Office, Outlook, internet search engines)
• Good organisational, time-management, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work as a team player as well as independently
• English (fluent written and verbal) is mandatory
What we offer:
Starting in September 2026, this is a 9/12-months internship with stipend of € 1,500 plus meal vouchers
and STIB transport card. The position is based in Brussels, but we follow a mix of in-person work at the
office and work-from-home. After the end of the internship period, full-time hiring is possible.
